Basquiat stayed regularly in Southern California from November 1982 to May 1984, where he worked in Venice on about a hundred paintings, numerous works on paper and six screen prints. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\"Made on Market Street,\" edited by Fred Hoffman and Larry Gagosian, looks back at this crucial period and brings together nearly thirty works, including some of his most important paintings.
