Illustrated by Robert Mapplethorpe, Francesco Scavullo, Herb Ritts, Ara Gallant, Peter Beard, Bruce Weber, Perry Berenson and others.
Founded by Andy Warhol and Gerard Malanga in 1969, Interview magazine evolved from Studio 54's newsletter into the definitive guide to the stars of today and tomorrow. Interview's brilliant idea was to invite celebrities who might have been fans of each other's work to interview each other, often yielding intimate and revealing results.
